About Your Role

The Quality Assurance Inspector II will support construction management and quality assurance efforts on landside, vertical, and facilities projects. This role is responsible for monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes and regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical inspection experience, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, project teams, and client representatives.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred

Preferred Certifications

The following certifications are preferred but not required:

  • ACI Certification
  • ICC Certification
  • ACT Certification
  • NICET Certification
  • Other relevant industry certifications

What You’ll Need to Get the Job Done

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in landside, vertical, and facilities construction inspection
  • Ability to inspect construction activities for compliance with project plans, specifications, and applicable codes
  • Experience performing complex technical assignments in field construction environments
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control procedures
  • Experience tracking daily quantities and maintaining accurate field documentation
  • Ability to prepare detailed daily quality reports and inspection documentation
  • Experience performing audits of contractor quality control personnel and procedures
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with contractors, clients, and project stakeholders
  • Ability to obtain and review contractor project documentation
  • Proficiency with construction inspection and reporting tools is preferred

  • Inspect and review construction projects to monitor conformance with plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements
  • Perform technical construction inspection assignments in the field
  • Conduct engineering-related field observations and verification activities
  • Track daily quantities and maintain detailed inspection records
  • Prepare daily quality assurance reports and monitor field testing activities
  • Perform periodic audits of contractor quality control personnel and procedures
  • Coordinate with contractor quality control teams to obtain and review project documentation
  • Document deficiencies, non-conforming work, and corrective actions
  • Support project teams in maintaining overall quality compliance throughout construction
