Volt is immediately hiring Quality Engineer at Rochester, NY
As a Quality Engineer, you will
  • Ensure product quality and adherence to process compliance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to maintain ISO standards and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor processes and support quality audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.

This is a 12 Month full time Contract or Contract to hire opportunity.
What We're Looking For:
  • Must know AS9102 and QA-01.1.1 First article Inspection review and approval.
  • Experience working on and reviewing corrective action responses for performance evaluation
  • BA in Engineering or other technical discipline

Preferred Skills:
  • Use Six Sigma & Lean concepts for supplier improvement of quality and delivery metrics
  • Process Flow Diagrams & Failure Mode Effects Analysis, Control Plans, Measurement System Analysis, and First Articles

Pay Range: $50-55/hr.
