Genesis10 is currently seeking a QA Automation Engineerfor a Remote position with an Agricultural Cooperative located in Inver Grove Heights, MN. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. This position is 100% remote.
Compensation: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour, W2, based on experience and qualifications

Position Overview:
This role operates as a senior Quality Assurance Engineer supporting delivery through functional and automation testing. The ideal candidate will quickly assess existing systems and integrations across SaaS, COTS, and custom-built platforms to identify improvement opportunities and drive stabilization efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate independently as a senior QA for the team and support the delivery through functional & automation testing
  • Quickly assess existing systems and integrations to establish clarity, identify improvement opportunities, and drive stabilization efforts
  • Identify and plan work effort by using test estimation techniques
  • Create and execute test plans/scripts/scenarios
  • Collaborate with team members on building test cases/scripts
  • Log and track issues/defects through to resolution
  • Support UAT and Go Live activities
  • Leverage Test Data Management for identifying and consuming data
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of QA&E processes
  • Be innovative in testing approach during challenging timelines
  • Facilitate testing meetings, summarize results, issue/defect reporting, maintain metrics, and provide go/no go recommendations

Primary Requirements:
  • Strong experience in Playwright and understanding of automation frameworks
  • Ability to drive the automation-first mindset
  • Experience operating across SaaS, COTS, and custom-built platforms with an understanding of differing support and delivery models
  • Experience in testing programs with multiple integrated systems
  • Strong experience in backend testing (API/DB)
  • Ability to create and execute complex SQL queries
  • Ability to use AI for testing purposes
  • Good knowledge of Snowflake
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or other Test Suite tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to handle delivery with minimum guidance
