Role Overview:
We are seeking experienced Quality Assurance Analysts with 5 to 7 years of experience in technology or software development. The ideal candidates will have strong experience in requirements analysis, manual and automated testing, user acceptance testing, production validation, API testing, test automation, and test management.
The role requires the ability to create and maintain comprehensive test artifacts, validate production releases, work with structured and unstructured data formats, and collaborate effectively within Agile and Waterfall development environments.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Elicit, analyze, and document business processes and software requirements
โ€ข Develop detailed manual and automated test scripts based on business and technical requirements
โ€ข Perform Customer Acceptance Testing and User Acceptance Testing
โ€ข Execute test cases and document test results and supporting test artifacts
โ€ข Perform production validation through smoke testing, regression testing, and functional testing
โ€ข Validate application functionality following releases, enhancements, and production changes
โ€ข Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, scripts, and execution results
โ€ข Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools
โ€ข Validate data files and formats including CSV, XML, and JSON
โ€ข Work with relational databases and execute SQL queries for data validation
โ€ข Develop and execute automation scripts using available automation frameworks and tools
โ€ข Support test management activities across Agile and Waterfall methodologies
โ€ข Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve defects
โ€ข Track defects, document test evidence, and communicate testing status
โ€ข Support production releases and perform post deployment validation
โ€ข Maintain testing documentation and ensure appropriate traceability between requirements and test cases
โ€ข Utilize Microsoft Office 365 tools to support documentation, reporting, planning, and workflow activities
โ€ข Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency through automation and AI assisted testing practices
Required Skills:
โ€ข 5 to 7 years of experience in technology or software development
โ€ข Strong experience eliciting and documenting business processes and requirements
