Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Lead to oversee and drive quality assurance initiative across products, services, and operations processes.  The QA Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing quality standards and procedures to ensure compliance with customer expectations, contractual obligations, and applicable regulatory and industry standards. This role is critical in maintaining a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

The Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of robust technical quality assurance and control systems. This role is responsible for ensuring product and system reliability, precision, and performance throughout the entire lifecycle. The ideal candidate will define and apply quality standards, conduct thorough inspections and evaluations, and work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with all applicable specifications and regulatory requirements.  The role involves driving solutions to complex quality and system integration challenges, testing processes, and developing innovative methods to improve product and process quality.

Basic Qualifications

  • TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field and 8–12 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 6–10 years of experience.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance standards, standard operating procedures, and tools to ensure high product and system integrity.
  • Monitor and evaluate products, processes, and systems for compliance with quality and performance specifications.
  • Lead cross-functional testing efforts, including system integration, performance, and automated testing.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience in system integration testing and performance evaluation.
  • Proven ability to lead complex quality projects and coordinate across multiple teams or functions.
  • Proficient in using quality management systems (QMS), test automation tools, and data analysis techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, ISO, Six Sigma).
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., aerospace, defense).
  • Working knowledge of regulatory standards such as ISO 9001, CMMI, or FDA guidelines.
