Quality Assurance Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform timely quality assurance reviews of NFJP/CSBG participant cases through the implementation of quality assurance practices designed to monitor program compliance, performance outcomes, integrity, and accurate payment issuance.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of NFJP/CSBG program regulations, policies and procedures, and related database systems.
  • Coordinate with NFJP/CSBG staff on case corrections related to client eligibility, policy compliance, and funding requests.
  • Review vendor payment requests for completion and accuracy, including verification of vendor agreements and/or contract execution, appropriate documentation and when necessary, resolve related inquiries and/or problems.
  • Assist with data collection and reporting requirements in coordination with MIS including data and source documentation review/validation and error correction.
  • Maintain an effective data collection and reporting system designed to track and communicate quality assurance issues and resolutions.
  • Conduct case audits and make written recommendations based on the audit findings.
  • Assist with developing and facilitating technical assistance and training staff.
  • Assist with the development of written policy and procedures related to all aspects of NFJP/CSBG programs.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, workshops/trainings, as assigned.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Quality Assurance Job Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent supplemented by two years of post-secondary coursework in a relevant field. Note: Additional years of work experience in a relevant field can be substituted for one year of education. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in quality control, auditing, case management, or related field.
  • Proficient level of experience using computer programs such as Microsoft Copilot 365 applications.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to interact diplomatically with individuals from diverse socio-economic backgrounds and colleagues from all levels of the organization.
  • Experience analyzing systems, identifying systematic weaknesses, recommending quality improvement strategies, and recommending concrete solutions to enhance service delivery and agency performance.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment, and successfully execute multiple projects at one time.
  • Ability and willingness to travel and work irregular hours (non-standard and evening).
