Job Function Support : Acting as team leader for team members, performing production activities and assisting with quality and process documentation.
Typical Product : Processes Methods and Characteristics Involved Molten Metal, Cast Iron Sleeves. Involves work requiring a wide degree of skill and above average job knowledge due to the variety of work.
Machines and Equipment Used Casting machine, shot blast machinery, cutting machines, automatic loader, Fanuc robotics, LU-25 CNC lathe, automated gaging, air leak tester, and component oiler.
Major Job Duties and Procedures:
1. Provide instructions to operation employees as dictated by the Production Controller and Engineering.
2. Assist with the coordination, instructions and training of all operation employees.
3. Setup and operate all production equipment.
4. Interpret manufacturing information and advise employees on methods and procedures.
5. Assist Engineering in CNC program, and Fanuc robot program editing, and trouble shoot production problems.
6. Develop Supplier Quality Assurance Documentation and QS 9000 work instructions under the supervision of Engineering and Production Control for customer quality requirements.
Most Significant Related Duties Perform any other project assigned by supervision
