Its state-of-the-art Innovation & Culinary Center transforms trends and culinary inspiration into legendary products through an award-winning commercialization process. The company also manufactures and markets Mrs. Richardson's dessert sauces and Nance's mustards/condiments in addition to producing finished goods for the private label sector. BRF maintains its headquarters and a manufacturing facility in Macedon, New York; with a Culinary Innovation Center in Westmont, Illinois; and offices and manufacturing facilities in Williamson, New York; Pennsauken, New Jersey; and Corona, California. This position will be based out of our Williamson, NY facility.

This is a 2nd Shift (Monday through Friday, 3:00pm to 11:30pm) with flexibility required for training.

WHAT WE NEED
The QA Analyst is responsible for performing analytical testing using established methodologies in support of finished goods, in-process items and equipment swabbing to ensure all products are in compliance with food safety and quality specifications. The QA Analyst will utilize approved laboratory techniques and perform complex calculations to ensure accurate results are delivered in a timely manner.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Performs Pre-Operational Inspections
  • Performs perfect package checks on applicable productions lines and reports any issues to QA management
  • Verifies food safety preventive controls are in place and operating properly
  • Supports and educates team members on food safety responsibilities and good manufacturing procedures
  • Conducts data analysis to identify trends and patterns. Leads continuous improvement efforts and projects
  • Performs microbiological swabs as needed
  • Places all non-conforming products on hold, troubleshoots and works with leadership to investigate, determine root cause, and identify non-conforming product range
  • Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of production lines and process flows to troubleshoot production issues with appropriate parties to minimize downtime
  • Identifies areas to reduce waste, rework, and other inefficiencies with a focus on continuous process improvement
  • Performs Internal Audits of facility, process and programs
  • Acts as a backup to Quality Technicians as needed

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing quality assurance experience in a highly regulated environment such as food or pharmaceutical manufacturing is strongly preferred.
  • HAACP training strongly preferred.
  • Ability to speak effectively with groups of employees throughout the organization as this position requires routinely writing reports & corresponding to all levels of plant personnel.
  • Ability to stand for extended period of time
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds at a time without aid.
  • Due to SQF regulations, all employees must be able to fluently read, write, and converse in the English language.
