Salary: $24/hr. (Overtime opportunities available).

Schedule: 5 days on, 2 off, 2 on, 5 off

Day Shift: 7 AM – 7 PM

About the Role:

The QA Associate ensures product quality in manufacturing by conducting inspections, documenting defects, and supporting root cause analysis. Responsibilities include using precision tools, interpreting technical drawings, maintaining quality records, and assisting with audits. Strong attention to detail and collaboration with production teams are key.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform in-process, final, and incoming inspections of parts, assemblies, and finished goods.
  • Utilize measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product specifications.
  • Document and report non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Maintain and update quality documentation, inspection records, and calibration logs.
  • Support internal audits and assist in maintaining ISO and other quality certifications.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Assist in training staff on quality procedures and best practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

✅ Ideally, 2–5 years of experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment.

Experience with, calipers, precision tools, and blueprints.

Proficient with inspection tools and interpreting technical drawings.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with ERP systems and basic computer skills (MS Office).

Ability to effectively communicate & read in English.

Steel-toe shoes required.
