Job Type: Full Time

Shift: 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 5:00am-3:00pm, Friday Overtime day

Pay Range: $29.00-$31.00

Purpose/Responsibilities:

Provide direction and guidance to associates in the various functional areas of responsibility. Overall strong technical knowledge relating to departmental operations and working closely with the Supervisor of the area to ensure that key objectives are met.

  • Assist the supervisor with schedule attainment.
  • Provide direction and assistance to associates in your functional area. Lead, mentor and train as applicable.
  • Promote company policy, ensure that we meet quality standards, achieve work schedules by most efficient use of people and equipment while continually seeking ways to reduce cost and improve department efficiency.
  • Technical knowledge/ability to regularly interact with service departments and occasionally interact with customers and vendors.
  • Track, maintain and order supplies that support your area of responsibility.
  • General understanding and knowledgeable in all responsibilities at a technician or expert level for your functional area which may include any or all of the following:
    • Assist in resolving tooling, gaging, print or other applicable issues as they arise.
    • Maintain operational quality standards.
    • Report all operating difficulties to the appropriate supervisor.
    • Maintain and comply with process documentation.
  • Perform all required operations to setup, adjust, and maintain in proper operational condition for a wide range of types of gauges, fixtures, and checking devices used in the manufacturing inspection, engineering, and assembly areas. Also perform department essential tasks as required.
  • Assist and instruct associates in the proper use of gages, measuring and testing equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and complete daily inspection records.
  • This individual may generate and/or handle regulated (i.e. hazardous/non-hazardous) waste as part of this job. This must be disposed of in accordance with federal/state regulations.

Technical/Functional Skills:

  • Industrial mathematics (i.e. ability to add, subtract, decimals).
  • Ability to read blueprints and or read, write, and interpret techincal information.
  • Geometric dimensioning and tolerance.
  • Ability to work in a team along with strong leadership skills including ability to train and mentor.
  • Excellent written and verbal communcation skills.
  • Ability to use and setup various measuring devises or gages.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent- required
  • 1-5 years manufacturing experience- preferred
