Primary Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in walk-through, inspection, reviews, and user group meetings for quality assurance
  • Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities
  • Execute all the test cases and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect
  • Carry out regression testing every time changes are made to the code to fix defects
  • Prepare the status report for testing activities
  • Develop an in-depth system and application knowledge to provide higher test quality and coverage
  • Constantly working towards test automation
  • Collaborate as part of the scrum team in grooming user stories and development of acceptance criteria for the user stories

Working with SQL, ETL QA, and automation:
  • Share and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to staff, business sponsors, managers, and technical resources in clear concise language that is appropriate to the target audience
  • Participate in communities of practice to share knowledge, learn, and innovate
  • Research and implement tools that support faster delivery with high quality
  • Develop innovative approaches, Hands on Testing & validation
  • Using AI enabled tools for testing, Copilot for daily project activities
  • User: Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks. Evaluate emerging trends to drive continuous improvement and strategic innovation

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in QA/testing with a focus on data warehouse, ETL, or BI testing
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL skills for data validation and test automation
  • 2+ years of experience with QA tools like HP ALM, JIRA, ADO or any test management tool
  • 2+ years of experience in writing test cases and executing manual and automated tests

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced Tools & Technologies:
    Strong understanding of Bronze/Silver/Gold data architecture in modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Synapse)
  • SQL Certification
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Scripting experience in Python or Shell for test automation
  • Experience in domains like Medicaid (Healthcare), Claims and Providers
  • Exposure to AI/ML model validation or testing data pipelines that support machine learning workflows
  • ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
  • Familiarity with data warehouse concepts (star/snowflake schema, fact/dimension tables)
  • Strong understanding of data quality, data profiling, and reconciliation techniques

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $58,800 to $105,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
