Quality Assurance and Quality Control Manager - JLL

What this job involves: As a Quality Assurance and Quality Control Manager, you'll serve as the critical guardian of service excellence and operational standards across all facilities management operations. This role centers on developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive quality systems that ensure JLL delivers consistently outstanding service to our client. You'll lead quality inspections, audits, and assessments across custodial, maintenance, grounds, and campus operations, translating findings into actionable improvement plans that elevate performance.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Conduct regular quality audits and inspections across campus facilities including classrooms, residence halls, dining facilities, laboratories, athletic venues, and common areas to assess cleanliness, safety, maintenance standards, and overall service delivery

  • Coordinate all Workorder assignments in CMMS system (Corrigo). Manage the workorder production reports and be able to present based on the data produced. Audit a sample of completed workorders for completion quality

  • Coordinate the equipment assignment for all JLL associates to ensure they are able to complete all assignments

  • Analyze quality data and inspection results to identify trends, root causes of deficiencies, and opportunities for operational improvements, then create detailed corrective action plans with clear timelines and accountability

  • Collaborate with operations managers, supervisors, and frontline staff to communicate quality expectations, provide training on standards, and foster a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility

  • Serve as the primary liaison with campus facilities leadership on quality matters, presenting audit findings, performance metrics, and improvement initiatives during regular client meetings

  • Lead or participate in client walkthroughs and inspections, responding professionally to feedback and ensuring swift resolution of identified concerns

  • Monitor vendor and subcontractor performance through quality assessments, ensuring third-party service providers meet JLL and campus standards

  • Maintain detailed documentation of all inspections, audits, corrective actions, and quality improvements using digital management platforms and reporting tools

Required qualifications:

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in quality assurance, quality control, or facilities management with demonstrated responsibility for inspection and audit programs

  • Proficient with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) with the ability to present data for reporting and training

  • Strong knowledge of facilities operations including custodial services, building maintenance, grounds keeping, and campus infrastructure systems

  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to collect, interpret, and present quality data and performance metrics to diverse stakeholders

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to build collaborative relationships with operations teams, client representatives, and vendor partners at all organizational levels

  • Proficiency with quality management software, inspection tools, and Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting

  • Must be able to walk at least 1 mile daily

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience specifically within higher education facilities or large institutional campus environments
