Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer in Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities:
* Senior Analytics Engineer will lead solution design and delivery for enterprise data and analytics initiatives
* Partner with architects, business stakeholders, and client teams to develop scalable data solutions
* Design and optimize dimensional data models for reporting, analytics, and regulatory requirements
* As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will build and oversee ETL/ELT processes, data integration workflows, and data quality controls
* Lead technical discussions with clients and provide guidance on analytics architecture and best practices
* Support data governance, reporting, and risk management initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
* 10+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or data warehousing
* Strong experience with dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT frameworks
* Experience delivering enterprise-scale analytics and reporting solutions
* Advanced SQL expertise, including performance optimization and complex query development
* Strong communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills
* Proven ability to drive technical solutioning and collaborate effectively with architects, business leaders, and clients
Preferred:
* Financial Services, Banking, Capital Markets, or Risk Consulting experience
* Exposure to regulatory reporting, risk data aggregation, BCBS 239, or enterprise reporting initiatives
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms and analytics ecosystems
* Consulting or professional services experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
