Job description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Quality Engineer to ensure that manufacturing processes meet customer specifications and quality standards. This role requires at least 5 years of manufacturing experience and excellent problem-solving skills. This direct hire role is in Tinley Park, IL and the anticipated salary is between $75,000-$85,000 per year.
Responsibilities:
· Ensure all manufacturing processes meet customer specifications and quality standards
· Analyze statistical data and perform quality cost analysis
· Manage customer complaints and act as liaison between the customer and Manufacturing/Quality teams to resolve problems
· Assist with quality audits to improve production methods
· Development and implement improvements to testing methods and equipment
· Some travel required
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience
· Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
· Product and process failure analysis experience required
· Fastner manufacturing knowledge preferred
