Tire & Alignment Specialist

Fort Mill, SC โ€ข On-site

Job description

Tire & Alignment Specialist

This is not an entry-level position.

We are looking for someone who eats, sleeps, and breathes tires, alignments, suspension, and steering geometry. Someone who can look at a tire wear pattern and already have a good idea of what the vehicle is doing. Someone who understands that an alignment is not just “getting the numbers green,” but making the vehicle drive right, track straight, and protect the customer’s investment.

We need a true Tire & Alignment Specialist who can take ownership of this lane and help grow one of the most important areas of our service department.

What you’ll do:

Perform professional tire mounting, balancing, rotations, flat repairs, and TPMS service
Perform accurate alignments and understand the “why” behind the numbers
Diagnose tire wear, pulling, vibration, steering, and suspension concerns
Inspect tires, brakes, steering, suspension, and related components
Identify needed repairs and clearly communicate findings to the advisor team
Help drive tire, alignment, and suspension sales through strong inspections
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area
Take pride in doing the job right the first time

Who we’re looking for:

You have real experience with alignments, tires, suspension, and steering systems
You understand camber, caster, toe, thrust angle, tire wear patterns, and ride quality concerns
You know how to use alignment equipment properly and efficiently
You can diagnose concerns instead of guessing
You work with urgency without cutting corners
You take pride in clean, accurate, professional work
You are dependable, motivated, and ready to own your lane
You have a valid driver’s license

ASE certification is a plus, but proven ability, attention to detail, and work ethic matter most.

What we offer:

Competitive pay based on experience and ability
Consistent workflow
Modern shop equipment
Opportunity to grow within the service department
A team that wants to win
Benefits package available

We are not looking for someone who “can do tires.” We are looking for someone who understands the craft.

If you know tires, understand suspension geometry, and want to be the go-to specialist in a busy dealership service department, we want to talk.
