About the Role
We are looking for a driven and energetic SDR - Demand Generation to join our sales team and help generate new business opportunities across Qt's core industry verticals.
This role combines traditional sales development responsibilities with the opportunity to gain early closing experience. You will focus on identifying and qualifying new opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up while also managing and closing smaller transactional deals independently.
This is a hybrid role based in Dallas, TX.
What You'll Do
Pipeline Generation
  • Prospect into Qt's core industry verticals to build qualified opportunity pipelines across both new logo opportunities and expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Identify and engage key technical and commercial decision-makers within target organizations.
  • Qualify inbound marketing leads and determine fit based on project needs and development environment.
Multi-Channel Outreach
  • Conduct outreach through phone, email, and social channels to generate new opportunities.
  • Run structured discovery conversations to understand customer challenges and potential use cases for Qt solutions.
Sales Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Account Managers to transition qualified opportunities and ensure smooth handoffs for larger deals.
  • Support territory pipeline growth through proactive prospecting and account research.

Marketing Collaboration
  • Follow up promptly on marketing-driven leads, event engagement, and campaign responses.
  • Provide feedback to Marketing on lead quality, messaging effectiveness, and market engagement.
Transactional Deal Ownership
  • Independently manage and close smaller transactional deals, including basic product discussions, pricing conversations, and contract execution.
  • Develop foundational negotiation and closing skills while contributing directly to revenue.
Pipeline Management
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and account engagement in the CRM.
  • Track pipeline development and report progress against activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.

About You
  • 0-2 years of experience in sales development, business development, or inside sales (experience in SaaS or developer tools is a plus).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with high-volume prospecting and outreach across multiple channels.
  • Organized and disciplined in CRM usage and pipeline tracking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • A proactive, curious mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow in a sales career.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or another related field.
