Are you a highly skilled mental health professional with a passion for making a difference in the lives of individuals in recovery? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional to join our multi-disciplinary treatment team. This is your opportunity to work inside a county jail setting, positively impacting lives by conducting comprehensive assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and facilitating empowering groups focused on building the necessary skills for long-term success.

Master's Level Licensed Mental Health Professional requirements:
We are currently seeking a part-time up to 4 hours per week Qualified Mental Health Professional. The ideal candidate will have a valid Michigan license to provide therapy (or willing to get one), at least one year of experience, and the ability to pass background screenings and all required health screenings, including drug screening, physical, and 2-step TB. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team are essential for success in this role.

QMHP Job Requirements:
  • Bachelors Social Worker Limited Michigan License
  • Masters Degree Licensed State of Michigan (Psychologist, Social Worker or Counselor)
  • Candidates must have a valid Michigan license to provide therapy.
  • Credentialing through MCBAP preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing and utilize an electronic record.

  • Must be able to pass ALL required health and other screenings
