Quality Control Technician - Precast Division
Buildology
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-focused Quality Control Technician to join our Precast Division. This role ensures our precast concrete products meet company, industry, and customer standards. You'll handle daily testing, inspections, documentation, and help maintain NPCA compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform moisture and curing tank tests, log results.
  • Inspect products for defects and ensure proper markings.
  • Conduct and document cylinder break tests.
  • Track cement usage and assist in ordering.
  • Complete pre- and post-pour QC checks.
  • Verify product details like mix, color, inserts, and finishes.
  • Help maintain and calibrate QC equipment.
  • Keep lab clean and organized.
  • Assist with meetings, inventory, and QC manual updates.
  • Learn to operate the batch plant as backup.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in precast or construction QC preferred.
  • Familiarity with NPCA standards (will train).
  • Strong attention to detail and record keeping.
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, batch software).
  • Willing to learn and operate heavy equipment.
