Warehouse Quality Control Inspector- Hybrid Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Quality Inspector is responsible for performing inspections on incoming and outgoing fasteners and warehouse inventory to ensure conformance to company and customer requirements. This includes the use of precision measurement tools to verify part dimensions, documentation, and visual inspections. The inspector plays a key role in maintaining product quality and supporting timely shipping while adhering to established procedures and standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Inspect fasteners and other warehouse inventory components for conformance to specifications using calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and other precision measurement tools.
  • Measure critical dimensions such as diameter, thread pitch, length, and tolerances per customer or supplier specifications.
  • Identify defects or nonconforming materials and document findings clearly and accurately.
  • Ensure accuracy of product labeling and packaging prior to shipment.
  • Complete inspection reports, rejection tags (RGA), and communicate quality issues to supervisors and relevant departments.
  • Support warehouse operations by inspecting orders for same-day shipping, minimizing delays and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives related to quality performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. 
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications in Quality Control or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a Quality Control or Inspection role, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient with inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, and other dimensional measuring instruments.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Computer literacy is a must – ability to use spreadsheets, databases, and inspection logging software.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and continuous improvement practices is a plus.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Visual acuity to detect imperfections and discrepancies in product finish and dimension.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
