Job description

We are Welbilt! We design, manufacture, and supply the best-in-class commercial food and beverage equipment for the global foodservice market. We empower you to grow with us. We recognize you and reward you. We win together as one team. Bring your passion for excellence to our table.

At Welbilt, you'll play a critical role in driving business transformation through technology. As part of a collaborative global team, you'll work directly with business leaders and users to improve processes, enhance system capabilities, and support strategic ERP initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to global QAD projects, expand your expertise, and help shape the future of our business systems in a culture that values innovation, teamwork, continuous learning, and professional growth.

Position Summary

The Principal Business Systems Analyst (QAD) is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing Welbilt’s QAD Adaptive Enterprise (AE) and Enterprise Edition (EE) environments across multidomain, multicurrency business operations. This role partners closely with Finance, Operations, and IT to ensure business requirements are accurately captured, documented, and translated into effective system solutions. The Senior Analyst plays a critical role in resolving monthend and yearend financial issues, improving business processes, and delivering ERP enhancements that strengthen financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and global standardization.

Major Accountabilities

  • QAD AE/EE Finance Support & Optimization — Provide expert functional support for QAD AE and QAD EE, with strong emphasis on Finance modules, multicurrency processing, and multidomain configuration.
  • Business Analysis & Continuous Improvement — Analyze business processes, identify gaps, and recommend systembased improvements that enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Requirements Management & Solution Delivery — Develop business requirements, functional designs, test plans, and documentation to support enhancements, integrations, and ERP projects.
  • MonthEnd / YearEnd Close Support — Partner with Finance teams to troubleshoot and resolve periodclose issues across domains, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • User Training & Stakeholder Partnership — Train and mentor business users on QAD AE/EE functionality, best practices, and standardized global processes.
  • Global Collaboration — Work with global QAD teams to support shared EE environments and ensure alignment with corporate standards.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support for QAD AE and QAD EE Finance modules, including GL, AP, AR, Costing, Fixed Assets, and multicurrency processing.
  • Support multidomain configuration, crossdomain transactions, and financial consolidation processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve monthend and yearend issues such as cost variances, posting errors, domain mismatches, and currency translation discrepancies.
  • Gather, document, and manage business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and test plans for enhancements and new implementations.
  • Create and maintain business requirements documents (MD50s) and ensure compliance with SDLC and changecontrol processes.
  • Lead or support QAD AE/EE implementation projects, including domain setup, financial configuration, testing, and user training.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and improved financial controls within QAD.
  • Collaborate with global QAD analysts, business leaders, and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Train users on QAD AE/EE functionality, financial processes, and best practices to increase adoption and reduce dependency on external support.
  • Support integrations between QAD and complementary systems (e.g., reporting tools, costing systems, procurement platforms).
  • Promote standardization of QAD processes across domains and business units

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, IT, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 8+ years of handson experience supporting QAD AE and/or QAD EE environments.
  • Strong functional expertise in QAD Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Costing, multicurrency, multidomain).
  • Experience implementing QAD in multidomain, multicurrency business environments.
  • Proven ability to support monthend and yearend close activities, troubleshoot financial discrepancies, and resolve crossdomain posting issues.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and creating functional design specifications, process flows, test plans, and MD50 documents.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing or distribution business processes.
  • Experience participating in SDLC and changemanagement processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problemsolving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with Finance, Operations, and global IT teams.
  • Ability to work successfully in a remote environment and collaborate across time zones.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
  • Must consistently demonstrate Company core values.

Preferred

  • Deep expertise in QAD EE Finance (highly preferred).
  • Experience supporting global ERP environments and crossfunctional business teams.
  • Knowledge of complementary QAD modules (Inventory, Procurement, Costing, EDI, etc.).
  • Experience with QAD upgrades, domain migrations, or multidomain consolidations.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time remote role.
  • Flexibility to work after hours as business needs require.
  • Ability to travel up to 5-10% domestically and internationally.
  • Valid driver's license and passport required.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote and collaborative global environment.
