Job description

Position Summary:
TTC is growing, and we are currently seeking a Maximo QA Lead to play a key role in our organization. The Maximo QA Lead requires strong knowledge of Maximo and good understanding of QA concepts including Maximo methodologies. In this role, the Maximo QA Lead will lead and deliver testing services, utilizing industry standards and best practices to meet customer requirements. The Maximo QA Lead will work collaboratively to establish and improve the overall QA processes to improve the quality of the product.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the TTC leadership team to ensure successful testing within the organization.
  • Lead and deliver as required on critical engagements within the Maximo testing practice.
  • Assess and develop a deep understanding of customer's manual and automated testing needs within the Maximo environment.
  • Maintain a hands-on involvement in test execution, test automation, and risk coverage analysis.
  • Review functional and non-functional requirements and specifications for Maximo applications.
  • Produce test artifacts, including test strategy, test plan, test cases, and test metrics reports.
  • Ensure high-quality work internally and at customer sites while meeting project deadlines.
  • Cultivate excellent relationships with key stakeholders and manage their expectations effectively.
  • Actively participate in project team meetings, offering insights on application issues and presenting solutions to meet requirements and ensure desired quality.

Role Requirements:
  • Strong experience in Maximo testing.
  • Experience in the Utilites industry is a plus
  • Solid understanding of QA processes and methodologies.
  • Ability to drive operational efficiency in a highly regulated environment.
  • Proficiency in maintaining QA documentation and tracking delivery changes for auditing purposes.
  • Capable of executing and completing assigned projects within negotiated time, scope, and budget.
  • Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in alignment with project implementation plans.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including Maximo testers & functional consultants, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to proactively address challenges.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities from both a business and systems perspective.
  • Highly self-motivated and a capable leader.
  • Effective prioritization and task execution in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to facilitate open discussions and constructive debates.

Technical Skills:
  • Experience in working with Test Automation team with one or more test automation tools and frameworks: Selenium, UFT, TOSCA, Rational Robot, etc.
  • Experience in business requirements analysis and test case design using Test Case management tools: qTest, ALM, TFS, JIRA plug-ins, etc.
  • Ability to document defects and track them to resolution using defect management tools: JIRA, qTest, Quality Center, TFS, etc.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Maximo Testing Projects
  • 3-4 years of experience in Maximo migration/implementation
  • Over 4+ years of experience in leading large QA teams and projects
  • Must have knowledge of Maximo landscape.
