ABOUT THE ROLE

This position will focus on Quality Assurance for returns and outgoing orders. The individual needs to be flexible to changing needs of our growing company. Cross training, computer skills and time management skills are essential.

SCHEDULE

Monday-Friday (first and second shifts), full-time, non-exempt

WHAT YOU WILL DO

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES FOR OUTGOING INSPECTIONS:

  • Verify the item and color is the same as the item and color on the Final Layout
  • The imprint is located in the same position as the Final Layout
  • The imprint is straight, clear, legible
  • The imprint color matches the Final Layout color listed and PMS Book if applicable

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES FOR RETURNS INSPECTIONS:

  • Perform initial inspection of inventory and sample product according to AQL
  • Complete inspection forms
  • Identify any/all defective product issues with returned merchandise
  • Verify the item and color is the same as the item and color on the Final Layout
  • The imprint is located in the same position as the Final Layout
  • The imprint is straight, clear, legible
  • All other tasks assigned

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Able to inspect product accurately and provide effective analysis of defective pieces.
  • Able to provide accurate reports and update information in the system if applicable.
  • Able to maintain a high level of accuracy in all appropriate functions.
  • Able to work cooperatively, collaboratively, and individually.
  • Able to stay calm and patient amidst potentially stressful situations.
  • Model appropriate attitude and behavior and maintain a positive outlook.
  • Acts in accordance with all company policies
  • Good attendance is required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Some experience in quality/inspections preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

In performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus and hearing.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool.
  • The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise.
  • Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines.
  • Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels.
