Job description

About the Role
Are you passionate about raising the bar for quality, safety, and workforce training in mission-critical environments? We're seeking a driven Quality, Safety & Training Coordinator to support the delivery of world-class data center infrastructure projects.
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring operational excellence-verifying installation quality, reinforcing a zero-harm safety culture, and coordinating the training that keeps our teams performing at their best. You'll partner closely with field supervisors, project managers, and technical teams to maintain compliance, strengthen execution, and drive continuous improvement across multiple active job sites.
What You'll Do - Build Quality. Protect People. Develop Talent.
  • Champion Quality Assurance
  • Perform daily inspections of structured cabling, pathways, grounding, containment, and equipment installations to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and BICSI/industry standards.
  • Manage QA/QC documentation, including checklists, punch lists, test result collection (Fluke/OTDR), and closeout packages.
  • Track and report quality metrics, identify deficiencies, and collaborate with site leadership to ensure timely resolution.
  • Support the Doc Control team by reviewing and archiving electronic test results and project quality records.
  • Own Safety Compliance
  • Conduct daily Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and toolbox talks to embed a proactive safety culture.
  • Perform regular safety walks to verify adherence to OSHA standards, client safety policies, and company procedures.
  • Monitor PPE usage, equipment certifications, and safe work practices to prevent incidents.
  • Document and support investigations of near misses, incidents, and safety observations, driving corrective actions to completion.
  • Maintain site safety documentation including permits, inspection logs, and compliance reports.
  • Drive Workforce Training
  • Coordinate and track onboarding for new hires, ensuring completion of safety orientation and site-specific training.
  • Schedule and support delivery of technical training (e.g., BICSI certification, Fluke/Viavi testing, OEM product training).
  • Maintain a comprehensive training matrix and track certification renewals.
  • Deliver refresher sessions on QA/QC standards, company processes, and safety best practices.
  • Partner with leadership to build a "right the first time" mindset and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in construction, telecommunications, or data center environments.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards, quality control principles, and construction methodologies.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with sharp attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with field teams, supervisors, and client representatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ability to quickly learn QA/QC and safety software systems.

Preferred:
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • BICSI Installer I/II or equivalent low-voltage systems background.
  • Experience with Fluke/Viavi test equipment and interpreting/documenting results.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Experience coordinating training programs and maintaining personnel certification records.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Active data center construction and operational environments, including indoor and outdoor exposure.
  • Frequent walking of job sites, ladder climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Required PPE: hard hat, safety glasses, vest, gloves, boots, and hearing protection as needed.
  • Occasional travel between regional sites.

How Success is Measured
  • Timely and accurate QA/QC documentation and reporting.
  • Consistent compliance with safety standards and reduction of incidents.
  • On-time completion and tracking of employee onboarding and training requirements.
  • Positive feedback from project managers, field leadership, and client safety/quality audits.

Why Join Us?
  • Impact: Play a critical role in delivering high-performance infrastructure that powers the digital world.
  • Leadership: Drive quality, safety, and training standards across mission-critical data center projects.
  • Growth: Expand your expertise while developing and supporting high-performing technical teams.
  • Purpose: Help build environments where precision, safety, and continuous learning come first.
