Role Overview

Weโ€™re looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to support a high-profile hyperscale data center construction project in Reno, NV. This individual will lead all QA efforts across field execution, ensuring systems, materials, and workmanship meet rigorous quality standards in a fast-paced, technically complex environment.


This role requires strong experience in mission critical construction (data centers strongly preferred), a hands-on leadership style, and the ability to partner closely with construction, commissioning, and client teams to drive quality from install through turnover.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the site-specific QA/QC program
  • Lead field inspections, quality audits, and punchlist closeout across MEP and CSA scopes
  • Partner closely with construction and commissioning teams to ensure install quality supports Level 1โ€“5 turnover readiness
  • Track quality issues and drive non-conformance resolution with trade partners and project leadership
  • Maintain accurate QA documentation, records, and reports to ensure traceability and compliance
  • Support owner, client, and third-party inspections (including FATs, ISTs, and integrated testing support as needed)
  • Ensure subcontractors adhere to approved ITPs, QA/QC plans, and project standards
  • Drive continuous improvement in field execution and overall quality culture on site
Requirements:
  • 10+ years in construction QA/QC roles, with 3โ€“5+ years in a QA Manager / Lead capacity
  • Strong experience on mission critical projects (hyperscale data centers preferred; semiconductor, pharma, or advanced manufacturing also acceptable)
  • Strong working knowledge of MEP systems, life safety systems, and field QA processes
  • Proven experience managing QA documentation, turnover packages, punch processes, and field audits
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, schedule-driven construction environments
  • Strong communication skills and ability to partner with GCs, trades, owners, and commissioning teams
  • Willingness to be boots-on-the-ground in Amarillo, TX (long-term project)
