We are partnered with a Top 10 Midwest CPA and business advisory firm experiencing steady growth and seeking an Assurance Manager to join their Cedar Rapids team. This firm offers a collaborative, people-first culture, strong leadership, and clear opportunities for advancement.

What You'll Do
  • Lead audit, review, and compilation engagements for multiple clients
  • Plan engagements, including staffing, timelines, and risk assessment
  • Review workpapers and deliverables to ensure compliance with professional standards
  • Oversee engagement workflow, budgets, and deadlines
  • Serve as a primary client contact and build strong relationships
  • Mentor and develop staff while leading engagement teams
  • Identify opportunities for additional services and support business development
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA required
  • 6–8+ years of public accounting assurance experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and auditing standards
  • Experience managing multiple engagements and leading teams
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft 365, Engagement/PFX, Suralink, or similar
