Job description

This food manufacturing company in Boerne is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join their night shift!

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect packages on each line for proper seals, codes, dates, and overall appearance to meet quality standards.
  • Verify the accuracy and condition of materials like bags, boxes, labels, and products.
  • Place on hold and report any products or equipment that do not meet food safety standards to QA supervisor for further inspection.
  • Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance across departments; report any incidents to management promptly and professionally,
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience in a food processing warehouse required.
  • Previous training in food safety and quality standards.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be proficient in production software applications and MS Office programs.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
Schedule:
  • Monday – Thursday
  • 4PM – 3AM
  • Must be okay with training a few weeks on day shift before switching over to nights.
Pay Rate:
  • $18/Hourly
