Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Employee to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for inspecting powder-coated parts and finished assemblies to ensure all products meet strict company and customer quality standards before shipment.


The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or production environments, and the ability to accurately verify product specifications using blueprints and measurement tools.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed quality inspections on powder-coated parts and finished assemblies
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and product specifications
  • Conduct visual inspections, dimensional checks, and precision measurement testing for quality assurance
  • Monitor production processes to maintain product quality, process accuracy, and manufacturing consistency
  • Approve or reject products based on inspection results, tolerances, and quality control standards Identify, document, and report defects, nonconforming materials, and quality issues to production and leadership teams
  • Collaborate with production, operations, and leadership teams to improve workflow efficiency and product quality
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant warehouse environment
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Experience in quality control, quality assurance, or manufacturing inspection
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and product specifications
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment
  • Ability to complete inspection reports, documentation, and quality records accurately
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Physical Demands:

  • Lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently
  • Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently
  • Sit, stand, and walk for 1-10 hours per day
  • Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing
