Location: Columbia, SC Onsite

Candidate Location: Candidate MUST be a SC resident or willing to relocate to SC prior to starting the role at their own expense.
Project Scope:
The South Carolina Department of Health & Human Services (SCDHHS) is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to support Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) Replacement and Member Management Replacement initiatives. The QA Analyst will support testing activities for Medicaid enrollment, eligibility systems, claims processing, workflows, and document management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and QA/UAT processes
• Perform Smoke Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, and End-to-End Testing
• Design and develop automated test scripts using Sahi Pro/Selenium frameworks
• Conduct application reliability, usability, and stability testing
• Identify defects, issues, and optimization opportunities
• Maintain defect databases and testing documentation
• Review and validate vendor unit/system integration test plans and results
• Collaborate with developers, architects, analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues
• Ensure compliance with testing governance standards and QA best practices
• Prepare and review test scripts, test scenarios, and test reports
• Publish testing status reports and communicate testing gaps/issues to development teams
• Participate in walkthroughs, inspections, and quality reviews
Required Skills & Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control
• 5+ years translating business requirements into test cases and scenarios
• 3+ years of experience with Sahi Pro/Selenium Automation Framework
• Experience designing and developing automated test scripts
• Working knowledge of one or more QA process frameworks: SPICE, TPI, TMMI, CMMI OPF/OPD/PPQA
• Hands-on experience with test design techniques such as Equivalence Class Partitioning and Pairwise Analysis
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Skills:
• 5+ years of experience with enterprise/e-business systems
• 3+ years of Medicaid or healthcare industry experience
• Knowledge of healthcare operations, MMIS, and claims processing
• Experience with X12 Standards and HIPAA EDI Transactions
• Experience with Atlassian tools including JIRA and Confluence
• Experience in both Waterfall and Agile environments
• Experience with PICT or similar orthogonal test design tools
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or related field
OR equivalent professional experience
