Quality Assurance Inspector Job Description: 

PrideStaff is working with a local manufacturing facility who is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join their team.  The Quality Assurance Inspector will ensure every medical device produced is safe and compliant ensuring the final product matches the prototype and box label. The ideal Quality Assurance Inspector has multiple years of related experience, understands ISO 13485, ADA, and leads with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  The Quality Assurance Inspector position is a full time, temp to hire position in Memphis, TN. 


Quality Assurance Inspector Job Responsibilities: 

  • Perform First Article & Final Inspections on Key Units, Including Labeling & Packaging
  • Identify Non-Conforming Materials & Ensure All Products Meet Engineering & Quality Standards 
  • Follow ADA, ISO 13485, & Company-Specific Codes (AdvaMed, MedTech)
  • Complete Training & Continued Training Regarding Global Regulations 
  • Clean & Inspect Medical Tray Systems Returning From The Field 
  • Maintain High Ethical Standards & Represent The Company Professionally With All Third Parties 
  • Follow & Wear All Safety & PPE Requirements


Quality Assurance Inspector Job Requirements:

  • HS Diploma Or Equivalent Required 
  • AA Degree in a Technical Field Preferred 
  • 2+ Years in a Regulated Industry (Medical Device, Etc.) Preferred 
  • Must be Able to Read Blueprints & a Basic Understanding of SME Y14.5M
  • Demonstrates Superb Written & Verbal Communication Skills 
  • Must be Able to Work Effectively in a Collaborative Environment
  • Must be Able to Sit, Climb, Balance, Stoop, Kneel, Crouch, or Crawl
  • Must be Able to Lift up to 50lbs 
  • Must Have Excellent Vision, Color Vision, & Depth Preception
