Quality Inspector - Receiving
Job Description:
Saab, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team! This role is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, components and products to ensure they meet prescribed requirements. You will work closely with the Quality, Warehouse, and Manufacturing teams to maintain a high level of quality for our customers.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Inspect incoming materials, components and products using visual, mechanical, and measurement techniques.
  • Verify materials against engineering drawings, specifications, purchase order, and quality requirements.
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, and other inspection tools.
  • Collect and maintain related quality records.
  • Use of a computer-based ERP system for data entry and inventory management.
  • Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials.
  • Assist in first article and sampling inspections, as requested.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities, as requested.
  • Assist with audits and quality system documentation, as needed.

Compensation Range: Commensurate with experience
