Accountabilities

The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for driving quality assurance across mobile product development, ensuring reliable releases and continuous improvement of testing practices.

  • Own the quality validation process from technical hand-off through successful production deployment.
  • Review product specifications, define test strategies, and create detailed test plans, cases, and checklists.
  • Estimate testing efforts accurately and deliver high-quality validation within agreed timelines.
  • Perform functional, exploratory, regression, UI/UX, and end-to-end API testing across real devices and emulators.
  • Develop, maintain, and expand mobile test automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
  • Integrate automated testing solutions into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous quality checks.
  • Automate critical user journeys and manage test data preparation and cleanup processes.
  • Conduct test documentation, participate in code reviews, and maintain high engineering standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Mobile Engineers, Backend Engineers, and Architects throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Support mobile application releases by validating builds, testing deep links, performing pre-release checks, and monitoring production performance.
  • Track and improve QA metrics such as test coverage, defect rates, and automation effectiveness.
Requirements

The ideal candidate has strong mobile QA expertise, experience with automation frameworks, and a solid understanding of software testing methodologies.

  • Strong knowledge of QA principles, testing methodologies, test design techniques, and software development processes.
  • Experience testing mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms, including real devices and emulators.
  • Understanding of mobile application lifecycles, platform guidelines, and release processes for App Store and Google Play.
  • Experience using debugging and analysis tools such as Proxyman, Charles, Fiddler, ADB logcat, and Xcode Console.
  • Familiarity with API testing using tools such as Postman and REST/GraphQL services.
  • Experience managing test data and working with bug tracking, test management, and version control tools such as Jira, Allure TestOps, and Git.
  • Hands-on experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Maestro or Appium.
  • Basic scripting skills in languages such as JavaScript or Python.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD environments and tools such as GitHub Actions or Bitrise.
  • Experience with crash monitoring tools such as Sentry and mobile application release workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to collaborate effectively in distributed teams.
Benefits
