Depassement et defis stimulants :

Sous la supervision du chef d'equipe / RTLAB, le Developpeur en Automatisation Assurance Qualite evoluera dans un environnement dynamique inspire des methodes Agile et participera activement au developpement d'outils internes utilises dans le cadre des tests automatises en integration continue (CI). Ces outils soutiennent les equipes de developpement dans l'evolution de nos plateformes de simulation temps reel. Dans un contexte d'integration continue, vous appuierez les equipes logicielles a toutes les etapes du developpement des produits OPALRT.

Responsabilites principales:

• Developper et executer des scenarios de test alignes sur les specifications de l'equipe Recherche et Developpement.
• Concevoir, executer, maintenir et documenter des tests automatises en Python.
• Integrer les tests automatises dans l'environnement d'integration continue (Jenkins / Groovy).
• Participer a l'amelioration des processus et des outils communs.
• Soutenir et former les utilisateurs dans le deploiement et l'utilisation des outils internes de tests automatises.
• Collaborer au sein d'une equipe Agile.

Exigences :

• Formation:Baccalaureat en genie logiciel, en informatique ou equivalent.

• Experience:1 a 2 ans d'experience en automatisation des tests et/ou en developpement logiciel.

Competences requises :
- Realisation de tests unitaires, d'integration et de tests automatises (Python, Groovy, etc.).

- Experience avec les technologies d'integration continue (Jenkins, GitLabCI, etc.).

- Connaissance des bonnes pratiques en automatisation des tests.

• Langues : Le francais est requis. Une bonne maitrise de l'anglais, a l'oral et a l'ecrit, est necessaire pour assurer une communication efficace avec des collegues et partenaires a l'exterieur du Quebec.
• Qualites personnelles : Autonomie, curiosite, bonnes habiletes interpersonnelles, esprit d'equipe.
• Interet marque pour les systemes d'integration continue et les tests automatises.

Atouts importants:

• Certifications en assurance qualite (ex. : ISTQB).
• Connaissance des outils et langages suivants : Batch, Shell, Git, GitLab, systemes d'exploitation Linux.
• Experience avec les methodes Agile (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.).

Achievements and stimulating challenges:

Under the supervision of the Team Leader / RT-LAB, the QA Automation Developer will work in a dynamic environment inspired by Agile methods and will be required to actively participate in the development of internal tools used during automated CI tests. These tools support developers in the evolution of our real-time simulation platforms. In the context of continuous integration, you will support the software teams in all phases of the development of OPAL-RT products.

Main Duties:

• Develop and execute test scenarios aligned with Research & Development team specifications.
• Implement, run, maintain and document automated tests (Python)
• Integrate automatic tests into the continuous integration environment (Jenkins / Groovy)
• Participate in the improvement of common processes and tools
• Support and train users in the deployment and use of internal tools to perform automated tests
• Collaborate as a team in an Agile environment

Requirements:

• Education:Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• Experience:1 to 2 years of experience in test automation, and/or software development
• Skills required:
  - Performing unit tests, integration tests and automated tests (Python, Groovy, ...)
  - Experience with continuous integration technologies (Jenkins, Gitlab-CI, ...)
  - Knowledge of test automation best practices
• Language abilities:French is required, and advanced English skills (oral and written) help ensure open, effective communication with colleagues and partners beyond Quebec.

• Desired skills:Autonomy, curiosity, good interpersonal communication, team spirit.
• Strong interest in continuous integration and automated testing systems.

Significant assets:

• QA-related certifications (e.g., ISTQB).
• Knowledge of the following tools and languages: Batch, Shell script, Git, Gitlab, Linux operating systems
• Experience with agile methods (SCRUM, Kanban...);
