Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Lead Quality Assurance Technicians for projects located in or around Seattle, WA.ย  This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $36-$41/hour based on experience and skill level.ย  If you are a Quality Assurance Technician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!ย 

Job Scope:ย  ย 

  • Oversee the quality program from production through final inspection
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality Assurance team
  • Maintain and improve quality management systems, procedures, and documentation
  • Establish inspection, testing, and auditing processes
  • Review quality data and performance trends to identify improvement opportunities
  • Investigate non-conformances, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Coordinate internal and external audits
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and customer requirements
  • Partner with production, engineering, purchasing, and suppliers to resolve quality concerns
  • Review technical drawings and customer specifications
  • Develop quality reports, metrics, and documentation
  • Provide training and guidance on quality standards and best practices
  • Report to on-site manager
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Knowledge of quality systems, inspection methods, and statistical process control
  • Familiarity with regulated manufacturing and customer compliance requirements
  • Experience with metal manufacturing, finishing, or precision components highly preferred
  • Knowledge of aerospace quality standards and FAA-regulated environments is a plus
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
