Job Description:
• Engages in facility problem solving activities to reduce scrap, material reduction, increase capability, and productivity.
• Addresses daily quality concerns and questions. Offers recommendations as required.
• Inspects and tests specific products to check for consistent and compliant quality as dictated by certain parameters
• Assesses testing, inspection and operational procedures and created and revises quality control systems, plans, and procedures as needed.
• Troubleshoots manufacturing problems and quality issues. Works with Operations and Quality personnel to investigate, collect and analyze data to resolve and implement corrective action, where applicable.
• Work closely with operation teams to ensure process controls are in place and adequate to meet standard requirements.
• Responsible for accuracy and timely inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring devices.
• Ensure that any non-conforming product is properly identified, quarantined and communicated.
• Examines material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and incomplete welds.
• Verifies specified dimensions of product or material.
• Leads in quality control and operation training
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements:

• Ability to understand complex business issues and provide appropriate, effective, technical solutions.

• Must be able to lift product, materials, and equipment as necessary to perform the job.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read and write the English language.
• High School diploma/GED.
• Proven manufacturing experience required.
