Arobas personnel is looking for a QA Lead for a contract with one of our clients located in Montreal,Laval or Toronto.

*Remote : Hybrid*

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to ensure the quality and integrity of data-driven solutions while leading a small QA team. This role combines hands-on backend testing responsibilities with technical leadership and mentorship.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual backend testing to validate system functionality and data integrity.
  • Create and execute test scenarios related to data validation and quality assurance.
  • Conduct data quality checks and analyze results using SQL queries.
  • Identify, document, and track defects while working closely with technical teams.
  • Lead and support a small QA team while remaining actively involved in testing activities.
  • Contribute to QA process improvements and best practices.
  • Support test automation initiatives when applicable.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance and manual backend testing.
  • Strong SQL expertise.
  • Solid understanding of data quality validation and testing methodologies.
  • Experience leading or mentoring QA team members.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Cucumber or Selenium is an asset.
