Job description

NAVA Software solutions is looking for a Mainframe QA Analyst
Details:
Mainframe QA Analyst
Duration: 6-12 months
Location: Morris plains NJ - Onsite
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the quality and functionality of mainframe and web applications.
  • Design and execute test cases, analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance.
  • Develop detailed test cases and test data based on requirements, conduct manual testing focusing on functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
  • Execute test cases on mainframe environments and validate data accuracy in DB2.
  • Log, track the defects and perform Root cause analysis of the defect.
  • Collaborate with cross functional team
  • Prepare and present the test results and metrics.

Required:
  • 3 -5 years of experience in QA testing
  • Experience in working with large data sets, data validation and SQL queries
  • Knowledge of test management tools - JIRA
  • Work experience with Agile methodologies and scrum framework
  • Good Analytical skills and attitude to learn new skills
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.

Desired: Familiarity with mainframe testing tools and Automation testing
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
