QA Analyst With Power BI

Experienced QA Business Analyst with 9 years in Power BI reporting, validation, and enterprise analytics across Healthcare, PC Insurance, and Banking. Skilled in gathering, documenting, and validating functional requirements, developing dashboards, conducting QA testing, and debugging Power BI reports to ensure data accuracy and high performance. Hands-on experience performing SQL-based validations, KPI reconciliations, and end-to-end UAT for enterprise dashboards. Strong ability to translate complex business logic into clear requirements, process flows, decision rules, and data mapping documents. Experienced in conducting JAD sessions, requirement workshops, and SME interviews to clarify KPIs, business logic, and workflow gaps. Proficient in documenting as-is and to-be process flows for clinical operations, underwriting workflows, payment routing, and escalation paths. Deep understanding of Healthcare processes including claims, EMR integrations, eligibility, care gaps, HEDIS metrics, and provider performance reporting. Strong domain experience in PC Insurance including underwriting risk logic, loss analytics, severity metrics, and claim lifecycle reporting. Solid Banking domain expertise covering payments, ACH flows, exception handling, deposits, reversals, and customer analytics. Skilled in performing GAP analysis across legacy and modernized reporting systems to identify inefficiencies and standardization needs. Experienced in validating business rules, KPIs, and reporting outputs using SQL across Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and on-prem systems. Adept at creating KPI dictionaries, metric definitions, data mapping sheets, lineage diagrams, and dependency matrices. Strong collaboration with data engineering, QA, BI, and product teams to ensure accurate rule implementation and analytics delivery. Proven ability to improve reporting accuracy by identifying mismatches, edge cases, and transformation logic defects. Experienced supporting Agile frameworks including sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint demos, and release readiness. Proficient in Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio, SharePoint, and Excel for documentation, tracking, and workflow management.
