Job description

Assists the pharmacists in the services that require certified skill and training, but not professional judgement, as assigned and supervised by the pharmacist; provides clerical support as needed; stocks Pyxis; and maintains adequate inventory levels. Assists in filling medication errors; enters patient charges; assists in audit function; inventory control and unit inspections; assists in preparation of parenteral solutions.

Processes physician's orders and stock requests.
Performs Pyxis Duties.
Stocks needed drugs and supplies.
Performs clerical duties.
Practices inventory control.
Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of work environment.
Processes I.V. Orders.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills appropriate to the age of patients served.
Competency requirements are met.

HS diploma or GED required.
