Position: GCP Engineer

Location: Hartford, CT (Onsite)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Unable to provide sponsorship for this role (Need Visa Independent Candidates)

Required

  • At least 5 years of Information Technology experience
  • Proficiency in Python is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL tools and processes.
  • Expertise in GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer)
  • Strong communication and Analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have at least 5 years of experience in Google Cloud platform (especially BigQuery & DataFlow)
  • Experience with Python and Google Cloud SDK & API Scripting
  • GCP certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer) considered a plus.
  • Capable of designing scalable and efficient data pipelines to extract, transform and load data from various sources into BQ
  • Strong hands-on experience on Python.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent Communication, collaboration and presentation skills
