Job Summary:
Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a highly skilled Consolidated Data Analytics Platform Systems Administrator to support and maintain critical data environments. This role involves deploying, configuring, administering, and optimizing enterprise analytics platforms to enable secure data sharing and collaboration among mission partners.
Responsibilities:
• support and maintain critical data environments across Mission Partner Environments (MPE)
• deployment, configuration, administration, and optimization of enterprise analytics platforms
• provide customers with insight into their network through monitoring and performance management
• identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a critical network
• turn metrics into information and explain their meaning
• share expertise through leadership and mentoring
• identify new opportunities to modernize the network
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3+ years of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator in a security-focused environment
• Experience with Linux operating systems such as RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, OpenVAS, and remediation processes
• Experience with identity and access management (IAM) concepts
• Experience in scripting or automation using Bash, Python, and Ansible
• Knowledge of system hardening standards such as STIGs and CIS Benchmarks
• Knowledge of log management and SIEM platforms such as Splunk and ELK
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP, IP, firewalls, ports, and protocols
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
Preferred:
• Experience with container security such as Docker or Kubernetes hardening
• Experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools
• Experience in regulated environments such as DoW or Intelligence Community
• Knowledge of SELinux, AppArmor, and kernel-level security controls
• Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles
