We're seeking someone to join our team as a GenAI and Python Developer to lead the strategy, architecture, delivery, and evolution of complex technology solutions while driving engineering excellence, innovation, and business outcomes across critical platforms and products.

This is a Lead Software Engineering position at Director level, which is part of the job family responsible for which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support business needs.

What you'll do in the role:

• Design, develop, and implement scalable solutionsusingPython andsome Javaas part ofan Agile squad delivering with adynamic,globalfleet and associated squads.

• Leverage Generative AI tools and coding assistants to enhance development velocity and solution quality.

• Collaborate with global teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

• Participate inAgilemeetings,deliverproject status, and adapt to evolving regulatoryand businessrequirements.

• Learn, improve,and apply Morgan Stanley's proprietary frameworks and best practices.

• Write comprehensive tests to ensure code reliability and maintainability

• Respond proactively to change, mastering new technical and business concepts as needed.

• Proven leadershipand communicationabilities;experienceintegrating, leveraging, and influencing teams, developers, and programs within a large enterprise

What you'll bring in the role:

• Python:Overall6+ years of development experiencewith 5+ yearsof hands-on experiencein Python. Proven ability to write optimized, efficient, and clean code.

• GenAICoding Assistant:Experience with coding assistantslike copilot, using Agent mode, Skills, etc.

• GenAI application development: Usage of LLM models for application, Agentic implementation, usage of tools to integrate data into LLM context, MCP tools and infrastructure, A2A design and development, data solutions for RAG and vector storage, prompt and context authoring, and more.

• Databases:Proficiency inRDBMS and NoSQLdatabases, preferablyPostgreSQL, MongoDB, and related technologies.

• SDLC :Experience with DevOps practices: CI/CD pipeline management, containerization, observability tools.

• Analytical Skills:Ability to design and implement effective solutions to complex problems.

• Teamwork & Communication:Strong work ethic, collaborative spirit, and clear communication skills, both oral and written.

• Testing:Ability to write thorough unit tests covering all major logic components, preferably using coding assistant.
