Overview:
Role:
  • Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and optimize complex data pipelines and data warehouse solutions (using Snowflake, dbt, Python, and Matillion ( or similar ELT/ETL tools) ).
  • Architecting new patterns within Snowflake, defining standards and reference architecture within Snowflake
  • Cloud Migration: Transition legacy systems to cloud-based data solutions.
  • Data Governance & Quality: Ensure high standards in data governance, security, and validation.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with senior management to align data engineering efforts with business needs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead or coach team members (particularly for Manager roles).

Skills & Experience:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum 7+ years developing and implementing data warehouses or cloud data solutions.
  • 2+ years managing a team in a data engineering capacity.
  • Must have 2+ years Snowflake architectural experience
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and scripting languages (PowerShell).
