Operations and Data Coordinator

Greenville, SC Hybrid Full-Time $23$25/hour

The Opportunity

We're a growing company in the employee group benefits market looking for a technically strong Operations and Data Coordinator to own client onboarding, financial operations, reporting, and data management.

This is a ground-floor position with direct impact. You'll work closely with a small, fast-moving team and have regular contact with employer clients and insurance brokers.

You're a Strong Fit If You Have

24 years in a B2B operations, data, or client services role

Hands-on B2B client onboarding experience checklists, coordination, multi-step processes

Strong financial and data analysis skills, including transforming raw data into clean formats

Active use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) in a professional context

A history of improving processes, not just following them

Advanced Excel skills: financial modelling, data transformation, VBA or Python

Benefits, insurance, or financial services experience is a plus, not a requirement.


What You'll Do

Client Onboarding (your primary focus ~60% of your time)

Onboard new employer clients end-to-end: presentations, checklists, data setup, system configuration

Transform and standardize client data files (Excel, PDF) for internal use

Set up tracking codes, maintain SharePoint files, update WordPress account pages

Track and report progress across all active onboardings

Financial Analysis & Data

Prepare custom pricing illustrations for prospective clients

Perform monthly analysis to calculate savings-share invoice amounts

Audit incoming payments; maintain invoicing logs for accounting

Calculate monthly partner and sales payables from contract and transaction data

Reporting & Communications

Produce weekly and monthly reports for management and clients

Manage a monthly calendar of compliance-approved client communications

Maintain master data sets for clients, vendors, and tracking codes


Process & AI Workflow Development

Document and improve workflows as you run them

Identify automation opportunities; help build and monitor AI-assisted workflows


Required Skills
