Job description

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Supply Chain Analytics team is responsible for deeply understanding our internal supply chain data sources and transforming this data into: ad hoc reporting, dashboards, web applications, and automated workflows. The team partners with all of Anduril's supply chain (Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Materials Management, etc.) and is tasked with equipping these teams with tools to deepen their visibility and accelerate processes.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Supply Chain Analytics Engineer, you will work with our business-wide Analytics Engineering team to ensure their SQL data pipelines are modeled correctly for supply chain reporting. You will use Palantir's Foundry platform as your central resource for conducting ad-hoc analysis for supply chain teams, as well as producing dashboards and automated workflows that write back to our database via Python/Typescript actions. You will gain a deep understanding of the different supply chain domains, and craft tools that drive insights and workflows that enable real cost and time savings business impacts. You are onboard with the goal of building out a world-class business analytics layer with truly novel solutions to supply chain problems.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Use SQL to transform raw ERP data extractions into structured datasets within a centralized GitHub repository
  • Use Palantir's Foundry platform to generate dashboards and automated workflows backed by Python/Typescript code repositories
  • Work with supply chain teams to define key performance metrics and implement systems for tracking over time
  • Eliminate repetitious processes with programmatic automation in Python
  • Manage cross-functional projects with clear and concise communication on timelines
  • Assess and incorporate external data sources and software that could bring valuable insight for supply chain teams
  • Educate business users with training/documentation and drive user adoption with a continual feedback loop
  • Embed AI into workflows via Palantir's Foundry platform to help summarize and drive signal from noise

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or related technical field
  • 2+ years of experience in analytics, operations engineering, data engineering, or software engineering roles, preferably in complex hardware technology industries
  • Expertise in SQL with demonstrated ability to write complex queries
  • Expertise in data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Streamlit, Dash, or Palantir Foundry
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced formulas, live database connections, and VBA
  • Proficient in at least one additional programming language such as Python, R, Typescript or similar, for analysis, data visualization, and automation
  • Ability to relocate or be local to Costa Mesa, CA
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Expertise in supply chain concepts such as material planning, bill of materials (BOM) management, supplier delivery and quality metrics, should cost analysis
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and extracting/analyzing data from these platforms
  • Working knowledge of Git/GitHub for version control
  • Experience with APIs and parsing JSON/XML responses into structured datasets
  • Ability to take a project from ideation to an implementation that drives tangible business impact
  • Continual desire to learn and use new technologies/software inside and outside of work
