  • Designing, building, and maintaining a large scale Django application for a rapidly growing "Project Based Learning" SaaS product.
  • Along with creating and maintaining new and existing python packages and code, you will be responsible for performance tuning and streamlining our current Python/Django codebase.
Qualifications

Absolute expert in designing, building, and maintaining web applications built withย Pythonย and Django.
Solid foundation in developing REST API's
Ability to create and maintain distributed systems that span multiple servers and systems
Creating application layer tests in Python's unit test package and creating UI tests with Selenium
Strong background in SQL, specifically Postgresql, and experience with Elastic search
Understand asynchronous task queue/job concepts and have experience with Python's Celery package
