UDR is seeking qualified candidates for a Cloud Platform Engineer opportunity in Charleston, West Virginia.
Description
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Write code to provision and manage cloud resources using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain automated testing and deployment workflows using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
System Monitoring: Track platform health, analyze logs, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Security & Compliance: Enforce access controls, identity management, and security standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Scripting: Proficiency in languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
Containers: Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
Networking: Understanding of virtual private clouds (VPCs), DNS, and firewalls.
Cloud Platform Engineer must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in cloud infrastructure administration and automation.
Cloud Platform Engineer must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubermetes/AKS/EKS).
