Job description

The Application Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between enterprise applications, cloud services, and internal systems. This role focuses on building reliable data flows, APIs, and automated processes that improve system interoperability and support business operations. The developer will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, software developers, database administrators, and vendors to ensure seamless data exchange across all platforms.

This is a fully onsite role located in Tucson, AZ and will be a 3+month contract with the possibility to convert to full time.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain integrations between enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and third-party applications.
  • Develop and manage APIs, web services, and middleware solutions to support system interoperability.
  • Build and maintain data integration workflows using ETL processes and integration tools.
  • Monitor integrations to ensure reliability, performance, and data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integrations and data synchronization.
  • Collaborate with developers, database administrators, and systems teams to implement integration solutions.
  • Document integration architecture, workflows, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure integrations comply with security standards and data governance policies.
  • Support system upgrades, migrations, and new application implementations requiring integration.
  • Contribute to automation initiatives and business process improvements through integration solutions.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Arizona Clearance: Must have a current Level 1 Arizona Clearance Card or be able to obtain one within 90 days. Failure to maintain the clearance will result in removal from the position.
  • Homeland Security Requirements: Must have or obtain a Homeland Security Background Clearance within 90 days. Failure to maintain the clearance will result in removal from the position.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

 

Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Enterprise application integration design and execution.
  • Programming in C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Working with cloud-based architectures and services.
  • Building automation and workflow solutions.
  • Understanding of data governance and security practices.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience integrating HRIS, finance, or procurement systems with Microsoft platforms.
  • Experience with SaaS integrations such as Dynamics 365, ADP, and other enterprise applications.

Knowledge in:

 

  • RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices development.
  • Integrating enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, or financial systems.
  • Data formats including JSON, XML, and CSV.
  • Dynamics 365 development and integration.
  • Microsoft Dataverse and Power Platform architecture.
  • SQL and relational databases.
  • Version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Azure integration tools (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus).
  • Middleware/integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, or similar.
  • Power Platform integrations (Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Authentication protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and SSO.
