BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee (a taxpaying, not-for-profit health plan) is recruiting top talent to help us accelerate responsible AI transformation across the enterprise. In these fully remote AI Workflow Engineering roles, you'll design, build, and operationalize AI-enabled workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, and outcomes for 3.4 million members and communities we serve.
We're considering candidates across all levels-from Associate AI Workflow Engineer I (G9) through Principal AI Workflow Engineer (G13). Whether you're early in career and eager to build, or you bring deep expertise in AI and enterprise transformation, we want to hear from you!

  • Complete assigned upskilling tasks related to machine learning, Generative AI, Python, or relevant frameworks.

Job Qualifications
Education
  • Working toward or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), Computer Science, Analytics, or related discipline.
  • Relevant coursework, projects, or research in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science is a strong plus.

Experience
  • Relevant experience, including internships, academic projects, capstones, or self-directed learning preferred.

Skills/Certifications
  • Basic familiarity with Python and willingness to grow into writing and debugging code.
  • Interest in AI/ML concepts, Generative AI tools, and agent-based systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to document work clearly.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and concepts in the rapidly evolving field of AI.
  • Must be organized, reliable, able to manage assigned tasks effectively, and possess a strong work ethic and collaborative attitude.
