Job description

Cloud/C#/AI Developer
Reliant Safety was founded in 2009 to provide comprehensive property security and management solutions for the affordable housing market nationwide. Reliant Safety currently maintains and monitors over 33,000 cameras across 20 states, which support approximately 50,000 residential units.
Summary/Objective: As the lead and sole developer for new cloud and AI initiatives, you will own the entire software lifecycle, from concept and architecture through deployment, monitoring, and optimization. Design and build cloud-native platforms, integrate AI/ML solutions, and develop backend services that connect on-premise systems to modern cloud environments.

: 3 Days in the office/2 days’ work from home
Location: New York, NY 10022
Essential function/Responsibilities: duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Architect, design, and develop cloud-native applications from scratch using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS
  • Build and maintain C# Windows services and backend systems to securely send, receive, and process data between edge devices and cloud platforms
  • Design, train, deploy, and integrate AI/ML models for analytics, automation, and intelligent system behavior
  • Implement scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices supporting high-volume data ingestion and processing
  • Own cloud infrastructure design, including networking, security, identity management, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and monitoring
  • Select and implement appropriate cloud services, frameworks, tools, and architectural patterns
  • Build robust data pipelines, storage solutions, and messaging systems to support real-time and batch workloads
  • Establish best practices for security, performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and continuously improve production systems
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of hands-on professional development experience, preferably in highly autonomous or senior-level individual contributor roles
  • Strong proficiency in C#, Python, and Java
  • Expert-level experience with Google Cloud Platform or AWS, including architecture design and production deployments
  • Experience launching cloud-native or AI-driven products as a solo developer or technical lead
  • Google Cloud or AWS certifications
  • Familiarity with MLOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines for ML, and automated model deployment
  • Experience with vector databases, LLM integration, generative AI systems, or AI agent frameworks
  • Exposure to real-time data processing, streaming pipelines, or edge-to-cloud architectures
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying AI/ML solutions, including model training, inference, and integration
  • Experience with AI frameworks and platforms such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Vertex AI, or SageMaker
  • Solid experience with serverless computing, managed databases, event-driven architectures, messaging queues, and cloud storage
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms, encryption, and security best practices
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver complete solutions end-to-end

Salary Range: $150,000 to $160,000
