Job Description

As an Engineer, Data Engineering & Intelligence you will support the design, development, and maintenance of business intelligence capabilities with special focus on dbt, SQL and Python as tools to create ETL pipelines. Youwill apply knowledge of data structures and pipelines to contribute to the organization's data-driven decision making, help shaping and re-designing the data architecture, and drive insights that impact business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize, develop and document data pipeline architecture to support reporting tools.
  • Support the creation of automated reporting backends with high levels of efficiency and accuracy in BigQuery.
  • Maintain a functional expertise of the client data, its nature, and documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members to understand data needs and develop meaningful solutions.
  • Contribute to the automation of data quality assurance and data processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Detail oriented while keeping sight of the bigger picture.
  • Highly proficient in SQL and Python.
  • Prior experience in Google Cloud services such as BigQuery, GCS, Cloud SQL, ML, or similar Cloud services experience.
  • Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
  • Experience analyzing data to identify issues and inconsistencies.
  • Passionate about data and understanding consumer behavior.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with version control software (Git), leveraging LLMs and writing technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with dbt a strong plus.
  • Ability to independently acquire new skills and master new tools.

 Compensation Range: USD $55,765.00 - USD $85,878.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
