Requirements:

The candidate should demonstrate experience designing and developing immersive virtual reality applications using industry-standard tools such as Unity and C#, along with a strong understanding of core VR concepts including immersion, presence, user interaction, locomotion, usability, comfort, and optimization for head-mounted displays (HMDs).

The successful candidate should also have experience developing interactive 2D/3D applications, serious games, simulations, or educational VR experiences, as well as knowledge of cross-platform deployment and performance optimization for desktop and mobile immersive applications. Familiarity with software development best practices, debugging, system integration, and collaborative development workflows is required. Excellent programming skills in languages relevant to immersive technologies, such as C#, Java, Python, C/C++, or JavaScript, are also expected. In addition, the instructor should possess previous teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or teaching assistant experience in programming, software engineering, computer systems, or related technical subjects.

This position is especially well suited for candidates with experience combining immersive technology development and higher-education instruction, particularly those who have developed VR applications focused on usability, engagement, education, or social impact.
